Face-to-face courses building a coherent path, from the universal field baseline to the most hostile environments, drilled by in-house instructors.
Security Support
Ongoing support in the field: threat monitoring, deployment and mission assistance, and security context briefings tailored to every zone.
Special Services
Tailored security solutions: integrating partner staff into the AFD Group's protective framework, and full security engineering and design.
Established in 2026, the Security Academy is a capability of the AFD Group, led by Expertise France, dedicated to the security training and drilling of staff deployed on international operations. Designed as a comprehensive system, it trains both at headquarter and in the field, as close as possible to operational realities.
Its strength lies in the precision of its offer. The Academy delivers remote learning pathways, to embed the fundamentals and sustain acquired skills, alongside sessions conducted directly in the field, where the environment becomes the finest of instructors. This modular, specialised architecture makes it possible to tailor every pathway to the profile of the individual, their area of deployment and the risk level of their mission.
Operating across a population of more than 9,000staff and dependents in over 190 countries and territories, including some of the world's most threat-exposed environments, the system combines doctrinal expertise, technical mastery and a constant capacity to adapt. Every course is designed, tested and refined in contact with the field, to deliver a single promise: giving every member of staff the means to master risk and operate safely, wherever the AFD Group is engaged.
